The Travis High School campus is currently actively involved in single-stream recycling. We have posted info from our host (Texas Disposal Systems) about the amount of waste that is being diverted from the landfill. This year since January we have diverted 16,450 lbs of material from the landfill! This will increase as the campus becomes more aware of the practice and we make stronger efforts to keep the bins correctly seperated.
