Ocean Discovery Night

Oppe’s Ocean Discovery Day was a huge success! The whole school was transformed into an underwater adventure to display the students learning on a variety of coastal topics. Students products and ocean decorations filled the hallways. Each grade level had a different theme and was allowed to do a gallery walk to see what other students were learning about. Presenters from The Ocean Adventure came to speak to the students about Coral Reefs during a day production. Ocean Discovery Night had over 400 people in attendance. Parents and the community were invited to see how we transformed our school and meet local organizations to learn about coastal topics. The Ocean Adventure did another evening show on Sharks. Students, parents, and community members were amazed at all the exhibits that our school had created!
