The Wrangler Recycling Roundup promotes and encourages children to understand their role in environmental stewardship because a sustainable and clean environment contributes to student success and well being.

2011-2012 Wrangler Recycling Roundup

Sept. 19-23- JWE students recycled capri suns and water bottles during lunch.

Oct. 31- Nov. 4- JWE students recycled coats and blankets and donated them to an inner city school.

Nov. 28th- JWE students recycled electronics (ink cartridges and used cell phones)

Jan. 30- Feb. 3- JWE students recycled over 2,000 pounds of paper (newspapers, magazines, catalogs)

April 16-20- JWE celebrated Earth Week!  JWE students and faculty signed the Make a Difference bulletin board. They also participated in a WASTE FREE lunch week.

April 20-  JWE students and parents participated in the Walk to School Day.
