Rid Your Plastic!

St. Helen Catholic School recycles all plastics #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, and #7. 

For two weeks, the school hosted a “Rid Your Plastic” campaign to help raise awareness of the need to recycle plastic and to use reusable water bottles whenever possible.  The classes competed to bring the most bags of plastic water bottles.  We wish we knew exactly how much plastic it was!  We had four truckloads and four carloads to take to the Pearland Recycling Center.  Many students purchased reusable water bottles to reduce plastic usage.
