Rain Barrels

When 5^th grade students have gone to Camp Kappe for environmental education program, they can see how rain barrels are a good way to capture rain water for gardening and also conserve water. 

Following instructions provided by Texas Master Naturalists at the Houston Environmental Educators Summit, parents have constructed rain barrels for the school yard and their homes.  Students will be able to easily fill watering buckets to water the school garden.
