Losing Weight With Altitude

Everyone who is overweight is sent to the moon to lose weight because there is less gravity there and it is “easier” to lose weight there. While on the moon, everyone runs out of food and begins to try to find their way back to Earth for more food and supplies, all while losing weight without even realizing it.

Objectives: 

  • The Fitness Scout is our character
  • There are evil French fries and healthy apples. You have to avoid the evil French fries and eat all of the apples.
  • Each level gets harder but if you “lose enough weight” or comprehend the modifications, it gets easier.

Audience:

People who want to learn more about being healthy

Team members: Jessica, Deirdre, Raedell

Health Lesson: 

When you eat healthy and exercise, you lose weight. The majority of this game involves obstacles. When you exercise or in this case, complete levels, you burn calories. Therefore you get healthier by losing weight. The losing altitude part comes into play when you move on from level to level. Because you start out on a different planet, you are in space. Then you get to the In Space School, in actual space. Next is Earth, which is in a tree. Following that is underground. After you accomplish that, you move underground further and enter the Earth's core, all while decreasing altitude and getting skinny by burning calories.

Fact # 1

How to lose weight fast and stay healthy

1. Drink plenty of water. The first how to-lose-weight-fast tip is that our body needs a lot of water so give in to water. Water is not just a way to flush out toxins but if you have more water in your body you will generally feel healthier and fitter. This itself will discourage any tendency to gorge. The best thing about water is that is has no calories at all.

2. Start your day with a glass of water. As soon as you wake up, gulp down a glass of cold water. It’s a wonderful way to start your day and you only need a lesser quantity of your breakfast drink after that. A glass of water lets out all your digestive juices and sort of lubricates the insides of your body. You may have your morning cup of tea but have it after a glass of water. It is good for you.

Fact # 2

There are millions of people who would like to know how to lose weight fast. The desire to lose weight fast often is associated with a wedding or other special occasion where you want to look your best. This makes it hard to resist the fad diets and diet pills that claim rapid weight loss. The truth is to lose weight and keep it off requires hard work and the willpower to stick with the program.

Let’s face the facts. Most people are overweight because they don’t eat the right foods and seldom exercise. Eating the right foods means planning your meals and snacks so that you have a balanced and healthy diet. Exercise can be anything from a daily walk to climbing Mount Rushmore but you have to do something that requires physical activity over a prolonged period of time. All of this requires effort on your part.
