Fruit Run

Story: Rachel is always trying to eat right and stay healthy, but everywhere she goes there's always such unhealthy foods surrounding her. Help Rachel get away from all the fatty foods and collect all the healthy choices along the way. 

Objective: Lead Rachel through the dangerous rooms, without getting hit by the mean, fatty French fries. To make sure Rachel stays fit and healthy collect all of the apples. Rachel can only be hit by the sodium and carb filled fries three times before you lose.

Lesson: Fruit Run teaches its players that healthier choices like fruits and veggies are always better than junk food like French fries and potato chips.

Audience: This game is directed to an audience of ALL ages and can be enjoyed by everyone.

Fruits and veggies contain essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber that help protect you from chronic diseases. They also give the body natural energy and are an important part of keeping you going. Fruits and vegetables come in all sorts of different colors and supply the body with a variety of nutrients from vitamin A to C. Fruits especially are high in fiber, which is critical for a healthy diet. Fiber can prevent sickness like diabetes and heart disease.

To maintain a balanced and healthy diet you need all sorts of food and nutrients. Consuming too much of one kind of nutrient is unhealthy and can be dangerous to one's health. The food pyramid shows the right amount of each food catagory that you schould eat. You should eat mostly grains and few sweets and fats.
