The St. Paul Interparochial School Students researched energy conservation and created MLA formatted research papers. By using the comments feature in Microsoft Word, students did not need to print out rough draft paper copies. This resulted in a savings of 134 pieces of paper and 1/8 of an ink cartridge and 13% of one toner cartridge for the printer.

Students used the comments feature in Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations for the Science Fair. By using the comments feature in Microsoft Word, students did not need to print out rough draft paper copies. This resulted in a savings of 370 pieces of paper and 37% of one toner cartridge for the printer. 

The Seventh Grade students created their presentations in video format instead of using presentation boards. The seventh grade students saved 37 presentation boards and 3 rolls of masking tape.

  By using PowerPoint presentations on the SmartBoards and video presenations, overall, the school saved 130 presenation boards and 12 rolls of masking tape, 660 pieces of paper, and one toner cartridge for the printer.
