Harvest of the Month Lessons

Each month, the 2nd and 3rd grade students were taught a lesson about a fruit or vegetable that was in-season.  At the end of the lesson they were able to taste the fruit or vegetable and often got the chance to taste a recipe made with the fruit or vegetable.  Then they could take the recipe home and make it with their families.
