Electronics Recycling Program

Partipating in the Cartridges for Kids recycling program is a great way to raise money for new technology and raise awareness on the importance of recylcing electronics in a safe and earth friendly manner. Students are encouraged to bring in items on the list each day. Each class earns points depending on the items brought in and the class with the most points wins a pajama party.

Our students have done an amazing job of bringing in items to be recycled. So far we have collected 699 items and still have one more day to go.

                                                        First shipment of items to be recycled

Our technology administor Ms. Brady helps recycle items that do not fit into the fundraiser category. On average three times a year Ms. Brady gathers all equipment to be recycled. So far this year approximately 25 monitors, 20 computers, assorted printers, peripheral devices and old televisions have been recycled. The items are donated to a company that ensures us they will be recycled in an earth friendly manner.
