Trash Bash

On March 17, 2012 The City of Melbourne held a Keep Brevard Beautiful Trash Bash. Ascension Catholic School was one of many schools in the area that hosted this wonderful event. Some teachers and students were among the thirty-one volunteers that came out to help. The volunteers helped pick up trash on the school grounds and a one mile area that included US1, Parkway, Stewart, and Lake Washington Rd. Together they collected thirteen bags of trash and eleven bags of recyclable trash. Plenty of drinks and food were provided by The City of Melbourne and local businesses. Each participate received a T-shirt from the City of Melbourne-Keep the Scence Green and Clean.
