National Green School Conference In Denver Colorad

Fuentes principal, Gina Butcher, and lead Eco-class teacher Alma Medina attended the National Green School Conference in Denver Colorado April 26, 2012 through  May 2, 2012. They participated in panel discussions with other green schools and leaders in global citizenship education. They attended sessions that highlighted schools and programs that focus on Green education and Green practices in all aspects of school. They brought back many resources and made contact with experts in the field, who will be instrumental in helping Fuentes move forward in our effort to "Be the Change"  The Green Team at Fuentes will use the resources and contacts to further our efforts in our school and our community. We are just beginning to plan for our future.
