Eco-branding

Students at Fuentes Elementary have participated in Eco-classes for two years now. Every student takes part in Eco-school for one hour every seven days. We have six incredible teachers who lead our classes and develop plans to help students learn about global citizenship, green issues we face, and important differences each of us can make in our lives, in our school, our community, and our world. We plan and participate in green projects. We brainstorm ways to change our practices at our school. We mentor our parents and help them learn about becoming more GREEN!  So, we decided that it was about time for US to name our Eco-classes. We helped our teachers design a survey to get input from our entire student body. Each class could nominate names, individual students and even families got in the name game. Front runners were chosen and then we voted. Other important information was collected on the survey to find out just what we think of our classes and where we want to focus our future efforts. The result of our branding efforts was a new logo and a name that says it all!  We are the Fuentes Earth Savers! Boy do we have big plans for the future!
