kids inspired with re-use/clothing recycled

By:

Our fourth annual clothing swap continued to attract many clothing donations from 3 school communities: Bryker Woods, Lee and Gullett Elementary schools. Dozens of students attended to take home new-to-me clothing and show their creative spirit in making something new out of something old. The mother of one former Bryker Woods student called a swap organizer in advance to say that her daugher looks forward to swap all year, even now that she is a middle schooler. Kids are seeing the potential that even old and stained clothing has for becoming a new favorite bag or something else. A truckload of clothing leftover from the swap was donated to the Assistance League, which clothes schoolchildren in Austin.
