To reduce the number of pounds of trash our breakfast and lunches were creating, students and staff developed a plan for mobile eco-stations. During Breakfast each classroom would have a recyling bin, a compost bin and trash bin. Students were educated on which items would go into each bin. The head custodian would come to each classroom and take the compost each day after breakfast. During lunch the eco-stations moved to each cafeteria table. The number of bags of trash at lunch went from 13 to 1.5.
