Two Great Camping Expeditions

Our Animal Science Lab Coordinator, Mr. Mindlin, with assistance from our Chorus teacher, Ms. Erosa, and our Parent Coordinator, Ms. Hall, led students on three different camping trips to the Jamaica Wildlife Refuge camping trip to Floyd Bennett Field.

20 Students attended each trip.

Although it rained and some of the campers got soggy, the outdoor camping experience was great.

Besides having fun and enjoying themselves, students gained new understandings of nature in the urban environment.
