Compost Bin

St. Paul Interparochial School Students install and use the Compost Bin in the Courtyard Garden.  Scraps from fruits and vegetables are collected and composted.  Weeds and plants from the garden are collected and composted.  Compost tea is created from the compost and used as fertilizer for the Courtyard Garden plants.  This reduced pollution and saves energy and money because commercial fertilizing products do not need to be purchased.
