Dooley had a back to school family picnic in the fall of 2010. It was held outside at Bob Woodruff Park just next to the school. The kids were able to play on the playground, play in the sand at the volleyball court, and enjoy the pond with fish and ducks. The students were also able to learn about a firetruck and firemen that were present at the event.
