Healthivore

Story of the gameJohn has been gone for a long time to study at the University Of Healthy Eating. After he comes back to his hometown Mt.Healthy, he finds that all is the way he left it. The town people have converted many towns in the planet Healthivore to healthy eating people. However little does he know that trouble is about to strike. When he wakes up the next morning, his dad hurrily wakes him up and tells him that the new evil villain Dr.O.Bease has striked again. Dr.Bease is against eating healthy and exercising daily to get the fittest body. He is known for striking towns and turning their healthy food into fatty food and replacing most of their stores, turning them into coach potatoes. Young John is the only one who can help save this people by teaching them how to eat healthy and all the stuff that he learned from the prestigious college he graduated from. Can young John help save his town and help put an end to Dr.O.Bease before he turns planet Healthivore into planet Fattyivore? The world's fate rest on his hands and his teaching of good eating. Is he ready for the challenge, or is he not? He is the last hope for the world, let's hope he is!!!

Objective: The objective of the game is to stop Dr.O.Bease from turning the rest of the town into his evil, unhealthy minions. Also to help save the unhealthy minions into good healthy eating allies by impling John's knowledge of eating healthy. Along the way of implying his healthy eating knowledge, John must also help others learn about eating healthy and then ultimately bring Dr.O.Bease over to the healthy eating side and help him learn the benefits of eating healthy.

Age Intended: Due to the difficulity the game is focused more towards 10+, as the game is going to be very difficult for everyone below that age level. However everyone will enjoy playing it and most people will learn something new by playing it.

Healthy lessons being taughtFrom playing the game, the students will learn how to be healthy. They will learn about the importance of the food pyramid and drinking healthy drinks. The students will learn the correct amount of food servings to eat, guidelined by the food pyramid. They will also learn to make even healthier choices like picking whole grain and wheat. They will learn the nutrients provided by the food group and why it is important to get that nutrients.  They also will learn about the drink pyramid and the armount of each drink you should have. They will learn about the importance of drinking water and beverages that are noncalorically sugared. They will also learn alternatives to drink for soda, and the certain amount of ounces you can drink to stay healthy. Finnally they will learn that it is important to exercise for at least 60 minutes every day, while maintaing your energy. Lastly, we are teaching the students that eating healthy and exercising leads to being physically, mentally and emotionally healthy.
