Pathways Recycles!
By:
Students from MESD's Pathways Community School gather cans and bottles throughout the week in specially designated areas. The cans and bottles are then transferred to green BottleDrop recycling bags and transported by students and staff on a bi-weekly basis to BottleDrop.
BottleDrop is organized and funded by the OBRC (Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative), with over 20 years of experience in recycling! Students are able to utilize "EZ Drop" bins to leave beverage recycling bags or use the self-serve stations to recycle piece by piece.
All redeemable beverage containers count towards a refund linked to a PCS-specific account! End-of-the-year fund to go towards a party for all students who helped this project! Contact Kristy for information on BottleDrop green recycling bags or got to http://bottledropcenters.com/home for more information on how to start this project in your area!
