Story: You are trapped on Junk Food Island, and must eat healthy food and exercise to be able to be fast enough to escape the island and healthy enough to be fit so you can jump and shoot the enemy.
Objective: get all the healthy food and get off of junk food island and escape the junk food baddies
- Audience: kids 11-14 years old
Team members: London B. and Lauren A.
Lesson: This will teach people/kids that when you eat a lot of fast food/junk food it makes you slower and then you can't jump high and you can't be very active, but when you eat healthy and eat the right foods and exercise right you get faster and jump higher and you are more healthy , so when that happens you can be more athletic and do a lot more things than you can when you eat junk food or fast food.
Level 1: Apples are an excellent source of fiber.
Level 2: Exercise is a crucial part of staying fit and healthy. People who are active tend to live longer lives and feel better both mentally and physically.
Level 3: To stay healthy you can’t make eating out a regular habit. Finding a healthy, well-balanced meal in most fast food restaurants can be a challenge, but there are always choices you can make that are healthier than others.
