Chapa 5k Race and Zumbathon

Teachers and students were encouraged to attend the Chapa 5k race and Zumbathon on April 6th, 2013. The school in the district that registered the most participants, would receive a trophy and $500.00 to go towards their P.E. program.

Here are some Camino Real teachers and students at the starting line. There were options to run the 5k, a 1 mile fun run, or Zumba.

There was also a health fair going on as well.

Camino Real Elementary won the trophy and money for the 4th year in a row!

This event is a great way to promote healthy lifestyles and teamwork within our school.
