Cardboard Boat Regatta

  Our high school students built two boats made entirely of cardboard to sail at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, a local water park. Both teams made it through the first two races. The purpose was to promote and help fund River Legacy Park. River Legacy Park is a local non-profit organization that preserves parkland along the Trinity River. Their focus for the future is to create the next generation of enviromental stewards.
