WYATT's VEGETABLE and HERB GARDEN

The Wyatt Wallaroos continue to enjoy their community garden.  Each grade level has a 4x12 ft bed and a garden mom to help get supplies and check on watering, mulching and weeding needs.  Kindergartners through fifth graders planted herbs, lettuce, kale, garlic, onion, tomatoes, etc.  Wyatt enjoyed a Harvest Day close to Earth Day in April/May and has now cleared the beds for pumpkins in the Fall.  They have already started sprouting:

Just as a former Wyatt student built the garden last year, another former student Ian Turner (also a Boy Scout) set up the soaker hoses for Wyatt's garden.  He did it in memory of Coach Campbell who passed away last summer.
