On a wet and gray day in March, hundreds of colorful balloons brightened the air as Redeemer Lutheran School dedicated our outdoor classroom to Norm and Dor Stuemke. The Stuemke's served as Redeemer’s first principal and First Grade teacher for more than 40 years. The bronze plaque reads “
Hundreds of students listened as Pastor Dave Schroeder dedicated the grounds and pergola, gardens and animal pens to the study of God's Creation. Here we learn to sharpen our observation skills and knowledge to become better stewards of our natural blessings.
Our Nature Gardens consists of planting gardens and nature areas and has won numerous awards and grants.The “Rainbow Room”,Redeemer’s science enrichment program, combines the outdoor areas with an indoor computer and activity room to provide multi-disciplinary, hands-on experiences to integrate nature across the school curriculum.
