Go Foods Staff Breakfast

By:

Go, Slow and Whoa Foods are not just for kids to learn about and change their eating habits. The teachers at Kramer are also trying to stick to a healthy nutritional diet plan. It is important for us to be good role models and practice what we teach. Last year we had a Go Foods Luncheon with hummus, wheat pasta dishes, fruit and vegetable plates. This year we decided to have a Go Foods breakfast on one of our staff development days. We had oatmeal, yogurt, fresh berries, fruit, granola, nuts and wheat bagels. It wasn't what we would have served 1-2  years ago. No more donuts and juices for us. We are trying to be very conscious of what we serve for staff breakfasts and lunches since we want to be as healthy as we can be. Surprisingly enough, we had a satisfying breakfast that filled us up, and it was good for us! We are changing our minds and habits about what we eat. Our future breakfasts and lunches will have a totally different selection of Go Foods to eat.
