Cattle Drive
By:
September 19, 2013 my tribe and I went on a cattle drive, which is basically riding a horse to go put the cattle bag in their pen for them to come get picked up but the driverto take them somewhere. It was very easy and very fun to do. My horses name was Gopher therefore, my name was Gopher for the rest of my time there. They do that to make it easier on them instead of remembering our names they just call us by the horses name. First, we went on a trail to get to the cattle. Then, we all got into a circular shape around all of the cattle and we all mad the circle smaller and smaller until they were all in the pen. While we were on our way back it started to pour down raining, we all were soacking wet and cold but that didnt matter because it so much fun! It was my first time doing a cattle drive andriding a horse in the rain. My trip was so much fun!
