Magical Homemade Elderberry Syrup

Yesterday, I made elderberry syrup.

 

First, we cut ginger up.

We put all different kinds of herbs in a pot and poured water into the pot.  

 

You wait for it to boil and then simmer for about 40 minutes.  

 

Then we waited for it to cool down.

We mashed and strained the berries.

 

We poured it into a container, added honey, and stirred it all together.

 

And then we made a label.  

 

I had fun!
