Health Lesson:
Obesity
Obesity is also called corpulence or fatness excessive accumulation of body fat, usually caused by the consumption of more calories than stored as fat, or adipose tissue. Overweight, if moderate, particularly in muscular or large-boned individuals. Obesity was traditionally defined as an increase in body weight that was greater than 20% of an individual’s ideal body weight. The weight associated with the lowest risk of death, as determined by certain factors such as weight, age, height, or gender. Body weight is influenced by the interaction of multiple factors. In 2004 billions of adults over 20 were overweight, 500 million were obese.
Nutrition
Nutrition begins with food. Nutrition is the process by which the body nourishes itself by transforming food into energy and body tissues. Human nutrition, which is the process by which substances in food are transferred into body tissues and provide energy for the full range of physical and mental activities that make up the human life. Vegetables consist of a large group of plants consumed as food. Perishable when fresh but able to be preserved by a number of processing methods. They are excellent sources of certain material such as minerals and vitamins and are often the main source of dietary fiber. Junk food increases the fat, while healthy choices will keep a person healthy. Healthy choices consist of apples instead of junk food such as chips, candy, and dessert. Some foods kill fat cells and these foods are usually a part of a diet. There are all different kinds of diets.
Objective
To only get the healthy apples and learn to eat healthy. Also, to kill the bad French fries because they are not healthy for you.
