PBIS Kite Day

For the 4th year in a row, students were able to participate in Simon's Annual Kite Day! Replicated from Austin's Zilker Park Kite Day, students are able to purchase tickets using their PRIDE Points, incentive points based on school and teacher expectations. The Kite Day is held duing an extended lunch. Students can bring kites or we provide one for them. Staff teach the students how to put the kites together, how to get the kite off the ground, and the forces acting on the kite and the students. Over half of the student body participated.
