1. Students kept a research journal through the 4 week process. The journal included:

*KWL chick information
*vocabulary
*diagram of an egg
(TEKS: LA 1.24C -record basic information in simple visual formats (e.g., notes, charts, picture graphs, diagrams))
(TEKS: LA 1.24A -gather evidence from available sources (natural and personal) as well as from interviews withlocal experts)
2. Students generated a "How To Care for a Chick Egg" book.
(TEKS: LA 1.19A Write brief compositions about topics of interest to the student)
3. Teams generated a timeline of their learning process.
(TEKS: Social Studies 1.3C create a calendar and simple timeline
4. Teams created a video presentation of their learning process on an ipad app called 'Videolicious'
