Food Forest

Travis Elementary Garden Club along with Supernova students and San Marcos community members started a partnership to redesign our garden area to swales and berms. Community members led the Travis community from standard rectangular raised beds into a garden designed to harvest rain and keep our water in our garden to help sustain a self sufficient "Food Forest". The berms were filled with a three tier design so we can use the space efficiently.
