Highland Park Elementary - Fun Run

Last year as a school fundraiser the kids sold giftwrapping and other items.  This year, to promote health and fitness, we instead had a fun run and every child participated.  Kids got sponsors for every lap they ran on the track, which helped the PTA raise money to pay for extra teachers.  The fun run was kicked off by a pep rally one week and the run was the following week - on the school track.  It was such a success that we are planning to do the Fun Run fundraiser again next year.
