Name: Recycling Paper Year Round

Purpose: To reduce the amount of paper waste currently going into dumpsters by recycling paper in each room of our school.  To educate younger students on where to throw away lunch waste; trash can or recycling bin. 

Participants: 4th and 5th Grade Leadership Team collected recyle bins from each classroom and dumped recycable paper into school collection bin.  All grades K-5 will participate in recycling classroom paper using classroom recycle bins.

The 5th grade students also made posters to put around the school to help kids understand the difference between what can be recycled and what is trash.  

Cost: $0. Recycle bins were purchased for each classroom by the district.
