My Tradition of a Homemade Omelet

My mom doesn't really cook very much because she's very busy at work and being my soccer coach.
I love breakfast so I decided to create my own tradition of making what I always order in restaurants when we go out after church: an omelet!
I learned how to make it by looking at cookbooks to see how other people did it. I also watched You Tube videos to see how you mix the eggs and cook the omelet without breaking it. My neighbor Ruth is a good cook and she helped me too.
I messed up the first couple of omelets but I just called them scrambled eggs and tried again.
The omelet in the picture is the first one I made that turned out. And now I make them for my family every weekend! We have a new tradition and I am so happy I started it!
