My Go-To Snack

Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies. I also do ballet, soccer and gymnastics, which means I need to have lots of healthy snacks that give me tons of energy. Remember, I still have to do homework after all this! :)
I found I can make my perfect snack by going to the grocery store with my dad and choosing whatever sounds good and is healthy. This includes food like nuts, fruit, seeds and other things. Yes, even chocolate chips!
I mix them all together in a big bowl, then measure out about 1/2 cup servings. I put these in ziplock bags that I can keep in my backpack or have in the pantry for snacks or a fast breakfast.
The secret to making it really good is to pick a combination of sweet, salty, crunchy, chewy and a little tangy.
But you should do what you like best!
