Lesson about Health Taught in the Game:
The lesson in the game is that eating healthy, getting enough sleep, and exercising is important for a healthy life.
Story:
Jane is put through a hallucination in the middle of walking since she does not get enough sleep. Jane, an out-of-shape girl, must run away from a witch that reminds her of her history teacher. She must eat healthy food in order to keep her energy up and escape from the witch and her dragon. She also has to catch up to follow her guide, who looks extremely similar to her sister.
Objective:
Jane has to eat healthy food and exercise, by running, in order to escape from her dangerous teacher and her dragon. In the first level, Jane must run away from the witch, go down the stairs, and choose healthy foods to make her progress to the next level. If Jane is caught by the witch, the game is over, but the player may try again to restart level 1. This also resets the score. As Jane runs through the hallway, choosing healthy food increases the score by 5, and she moves forward. Choosing unhealthy food, however, decreases the score by 10 and moves her back.
In the second level, Jane runs away from the witch and chooses healthy food again, but this time, she has to hide in barrels just in time before the witch's dragon shows up. Jane does not have the help of her companion, Allie, since Jane is too slow to catch up with her. Choosing the healthy food in this level increases the score by 5, and hiding in the barrel in time also increases the score by 5. If Jane survives the dragon, right after it passes her, the score also goes up by 5. Choosing unhealthy food decreases the score by 15 and starts the level over, if the player decides to try again. This, however, resets the score each time the player decides to try again. Not hiding in the barrel in time also results in game over since the dragon attacks Jane; the player could retry from the beginning of level 2.
After meeting up with her guide, Allie, Jane goes to the third and final level. Jane almosts gets a hint on how to escape her hallucination until the witch flies by and removes Allie's mouth. Jane is forced to confront the witch's challenge--answer all the questions correctly and get Allie's mouth back or die and start the level over. Without Allie's help, Jane must choose wisely in order to end her hallucination and the game. Each correct choice awards Jane with 10 points, but every wrong choice is a deduction of 15 points and the option to try again, which, again, resets the score.
