Negley Aquatic Club

11 students participated in the creation of the Aquatic Pond/Habitat

Day 1:  Prepare the site with gravel and/or sand

Day 2:  Put the metal trough in place and put silicone caulk in place to cover any cracks or holes.

Day 3:  Clean any dust out of the tank and begin filling it with water.

Day 4:  Place concrete pavers inside the water so we can put plants inside.  Also, position a pot base from a ceramic plant pot to serve as a shallow bird bath.

Day 5:  Place plants in the water.

Day 6:  Add fish to the pond.

Day 7:  Check on fish and plants.  Make observations.

Day 8:  Check on fish and plants and make any necessary adjustments.
