Earth Day Celebration

Travis Elementary students celebrated Earth Day with welcoming three new members to school. Chickens!! Students learned how chickens help our environment, especially the garden. Students also learned how people use chickens in their sustainability efforts. The students learned how to properly care, handle, and maintain chickens. The newest members to Travis Elementary chose the names Chica, Caramel, and Gobbler.
