What does it mean to be a healthy eater? We took a trip to the local WHOLE FOODS market, and through some on camera interviews we explored the healthy side of a hungry appetite. We then produced the videos below that cover new information regarding calories, raw diet, and protein absorption.
CALORIES
"We're under this illusion that a calorie is a calorie," says Steve Amos, founder and executive director of 4empowerment.com. Is that true? So if I eat 10 calories of Cheetos, then is that the same as eating 10 calories of asparagus? Watch the video to get the answer.
EATING HEALTHY
There are small steps that high school students like myself can take to eat healthy. A healthy diet can benefit high school students not just today, but in the long run. Student athletes benefit greatly from a healthy diet because it improves your stamina. Healthy eating also provides the brain power that students need day in and day out to be successful in difficult classes like algebra, chemistry, economics, etc. Watch the video to learn about how you can take small steps to a healthier diet.
THE SECRET
Rip, creator of the engine 2 diet, talks to us, and reveals THE SECRET to a strong body and strong mind.
