Schoolwide recycling

One of our third grade classes took on the job of taking the school’s recycling out to our recycling dumpster weekly. We constructed special stairs for the students to be able to reach the dumpster safely.Cafeterial waste is recycled daily.  As a result, each classroom has no more than 1 small trash can to be filled daily.
