[image] Pelicans

These are pelicans. I see them everywhere!

They are ocean birds who eat fish.

I learned that they can dive from 30 feet in the sky and they can hold gallons of water and fish in their mouths before they eat them.

My grandpa has a poem that says this is my friend the pelican his mouth can hold more than his belly can.

So when we see them we call them pelican belicans.

And it's true!
