Camp Write About

Every year Fourth graders at Kyle Elementary have a week long event called "Camp Write About", in which they learn writing skills and engage in storytelling, non-fiction and fiction writing. Tents were set up in classrooms around paper camp fires and rooms were decorated to look like nature. At the end of the week, students took a field trip to a local pond, to use all of their senses to explore the area and write about their experiences.
