Red Ribbon Week

The last week in October is Red Ribbon Week in the Texas public schools.  This is a time for all students in the district K-12 to be educated about making healthy choices by saying "NO" to drugs and alcohol.  

At Justin Elementary, the school counselor plans fun dress up days to remind the kids what to say and what to do when faced with decisions about taking drugs and alcohol. 

The PTA at our school is very supportive with funding a school-wide assembly for the students related to the topic of self-confidence and standing strong to make healthy choices.  James Wand the Spy Guy entertained our students!
