Mr. Gindl's class getting out!
By:
Mr. Gindl's class is learning about the birds and how to create a nature space to be able to observe the many birds that travel to our Rio Grande Valley. Students learning about nature and how lucky we are to live in a place where our students are able to go out and see the many birds who travel many miles to visit our great climate.
Students not only researched about the types of birds who came into the area but how to build bird houses, climate, and how and where to best put up the bird houses.
Students were able to put up the bird houses they made out of recycled materials and then observe and take pictures of the birds who came to visit. Building a great natural space for both the birds and students who came out to check on their houses and feeders.
They used water bottles, bottle tops, milk jugs, and other recycle products.
