On April 1, 2011, kindergarteners had the opportunity to take a plant to school to fulfill a special lesson on learning about various plants.  They were able to compare and contrast, measure, and observe the plants grow.  The students also learned how seeds develop and how plants move toward the light.  The children enjoyed the special "Plant Day".  Below is the flyer that went out to parents and one of the students' work.
