On Saturday, May 7, 2011, the Mother-Daughter & Father-Son participants and parents at Bill Childress Elementary, alongside Village of Vinton and Keep Vinton Beautiful participated in the annual Adopt-A-River/Texas Waterway Clean-Up event. By providing awareness and prevention to our Vinton community, this event helps communities establish waterway cleanups and litter prevention activities to improve and maintain the quality of surface water.  Our participants and their parents picked up litter alongside the Rio Grande for 2 miles.  BCE is working hard to maintain Vinton litter free.
