YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL!!!

The Student Council on our campus LOVES to make other students feel great about themselves.  The council decided to try and spread that joy of encouragement to others on the campus. 

We used the National Turn Your Beauty Inside Out Day which is on May 18th to do this great project.  Students created post-it notes to be posted all around the school.  Announcements were made and the quote of the day had to do with LIKING YOURSELF.   It was viewed as a mental health boosting day!

Students were encouraged to save time and energy that morning as well and not put on make-up or spend a lot of time on their hair.  They were asked to show their TRUE BEAUTY!  You are AMAZING AND AWESOME just the way you are :)

Encouraging signs and complements were given throughout the day. 

It was great to see all the students and faculty and staff who participated in the event.
