Days of Taste: 5th Grade Field Trip

Days of Taste is a field trip that the fifth grade Stonewall Jackson students take every year.  Volunteers and a guest chef educate the students on what makes flavor and how to make a healthy meal with just $1.00.  The students shop at the Dallas Farmer's Market.  The farmers are happy to teach the students a lesson in bartering!  Everyone enjoys the day, and the variety of tastes in the crunchy salad lunch made from fresh fruits and vegetables.
