For the past few years, the freshman regulars biology classes have been going outside to moniter greenroof tables that are set up in the parking lot by the prairie. They evaluate the growth, leaf status, fruit status, and flower status about the various plants, and use this data to determine which plants will best fluorish under the circumstances of the environment. These circumstances incude temperature, rain tendencies, and other aspects of weather.
